Listen to full versions of my Music on iCompositions.   "Blindscape, Tales from the Ted Zone"  is a compilation of songs that I have written over a 1.5 year period. I wrote all of the lyrics and played my 12 String guitar to develop the melody. Using a Mac laptop computer and "GarageBand" software, I recorded the "live" tracks and then added "Virtual Instruments" by composing each note of each track. None of my songs use any auto-generated computer music or music loops. I wanted to keep my music completely original. GarageBand is very easy to use and allowed me to add any instruments I wanted, plus additional live tracks. In the songs where you hear multiple guitars, or even electric lead guitars, it is actually my 12 String guitar, using special filters. I sang all of the vocals, including the harmony tracks and back up singers. No special filters were used on the vocals other than Reverb and in some cases, an echo. I have a pretty good vocal range and can reach additional octaves when needed, by using falsetto.   I completely enjoyed myself while creating this CD, and I hope you enjoy it as well! - Ted Nicholas   Listening to samples of each song is easy, click once on the Sample link to listen to it in your web browser.
